Privacy Policy
What I Collect
If you take the Forge Score assessment, I collect your email address and your results (your score, your tier, and which concept you're weakest on) when you choose to see your full breakdown. If you fill out an inquiry form on the coaching, organizations, or for-parents pages, I collect your name, email, and whatever you write in the message field, plus an organization name if you're inquiring on behalf of one. If you become a coaching client or sign an organizational cohort agreement, additional information (contact details, session notes, payment records) is collected separately through Dubsado, the client-management platform I use to run the actual engagement, not through this website.
How I Use It
Your Forge Score email goes into my mailing list (Kit) so I can send you the concept explanation tied to your result, and occasional Stoic-based content if you stay subscribed. Inquiry form submissions come straight to my inbox so I can reply to you directly. I don't use anything you submit for anything other than responding to you, sending the content you signed up for, or (in the case of a signed client) delivering the coaching engagement itself.
Who Else Sees It
This site runs on a small set of outside tools, and each one processes a narrow slice of what you submit: Kit (ConvertKit) hosts the email list and sends the Forge Score follow-up. Web3Forms delivers inquiry-form submissions to my inbox without storing them longer than needed to do that. Google Analytics tracks anonymized traffic patterns, like which pages get visited and how people found the site. Cloudflare hosts the site itself. None of these companies get your information for any purpose beyond making the site work, and I don't sell, rent, or trade anyone's information to anyone, ever.
Cookies & Analytics
This site uses cookies through Google Analytics to understand traffic, like which pages get read and roughly how visitors found the site. That data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time without losing access to anything on the site.
Your Choices
Every email from this site includes an unsubscribe link, and it works instantly, no explanation needed. If you want your information deleted entirely, whether from the mailing list or from an old inquiry, email [email protected] and I'll take care of it directly. If you're an active or former coaching client, your records are handled under the confidentiality terms below, and deletion requests are honored except where I'm required to retain something for legal or safety reasons.
Terms of Service
The Short Version
The Humble Forge provides Stoic-based life coaching. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and nothing on this site or in a coaching engagement should be read as a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a guarantee of any particular outcome. Coaching is peer mentoring and accountability work, built for young men who are mentally healthy but directionless, not a substitute for licensed clinical care.
Who This Is For
Individual coaching is built for young men ages 18 to 24. Organizational cohort partnerships serve the same age range through a sponsoring organization. If you're a parent or guardian setting up coaching for an adult son, you're arranging the engagement, but the client himself is an adult and the coaching relationship is with him.
Payment & Engagement Terms
Pricing for individual coaching and organizational cohorts is listed on the coaching and organizations pages and is current as of the date shown here, subject to change without notice for future engagements. Once you sign on as a client, the specific terms of your engagement, including payment schedule, cancellation terms, and program structure, are set out in a separate written agreement through Dubsado, and those terms govern over anything general stated on this site.
No Outcome Guarantees
Coaching works when the client does the work. I bring the framework, the structure, and the accountability. I can't guarantee a specific result, grade, job, relationship outcome, or change in behavior, and no testimonial or Forge Score on this site should be read as a promise of what coaching will do for you specifically.
Liability
The Humble Forge and Kyle Loftin are not liable for decisions you make, or actions you take, based on content on this site or discussions in a coaching session. Coaching is a supportive, accountability-based relationship, not a directive one. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, a medical emergency, or a safety concern, contact emergency services or a licensed provider directly, not this site or a coaching session.
Military Independence
All coaching activities and content are conducted independently and do not represent the United States military or the Department of Defense. Kyle Loftin's active-duty service is personal background, not a military endorsement of this business.
Changes to These Terms
I may update this page as the business grows. The date at the top reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms; a change to an active client agreement is handled directly with that client, not through a site update.
Confidentiality
What you tell me in a coaching session stays between us. I don't discuss client details, session content, or a client's Forge Score with anyone outside the engagement, and I don't share names or specifics publicly. Testimonials and case studies on this site are only ever published with a client's explicit, separate permission, and nothing is ever fabricated or written on a client's behalf.
Where Confidentiality Has Limits
If self-harm, harm to others, suicidal ideation, an abuse disclosure, or a substance problem comes up in a way accountability alone won't move, it stops being a private coaching conversation. I name it directly, make sure the client is safe, and connect him to the right resource: a crisis line, a therapist, a doctor. That's the actual help in that moment, not a confidentiality violation.
If a Parent Set Up the Engagement
Safety concerns are shared with the parent or guardian who arranged coaching, even though the client himself is an adult. That's stated plainly at the start of the engagement, not sprung on anyone later.
Organizational Cohorts
Organizational partners receive aggregate progress updates, like attendance and whether a participant is engaging with the material, not the content of what a young man actually says in session. The same safety exception above applies: if something serious surfaces, the organizational contact is notified so the right resource gets involved.
